NRC serves as a vehicle for Inuit to participate in wealth creation from non-renewable resource development prior to production. To advance its mandate, NRC has established the following two business lines:

1 ) NRC-Infrastructure – focused on developing and financing regionally significant infrastructure such as roads, ports, landing strips and telecommunication facilities; and

2 ) NRC-Exploration – focused on financing and executing early-stage mineral exploration, especially on Nunavut’s Inuit Owned Lands.   

Through a Management Agreement between KIA and Kitikmeot Corporation (KC), we provide NRC with operational support. KC senior managers also serve as Directors on the NRC Board, and act as NRC Officers.
